It would take a combined effort from all the ESPN properties including the


Pac 12 who is an ESPN/Fox split property.

You'd need something like:
WVU, Kansas to the ACC
TCU, Houston, OSU and ISU to the Pac 12 and
Baylor, TT, KSU to the AAC.

Now for ESPN to get those conferences to agree to that, I'm assuming and extra $10 mil a year per school plus the full amount for the realigned schools. So you'd be looking at over an extra $10 billion dollar layout over the course of 16 years. That doesn't even include the extra $150 million per year to the SEC for adding Tex/Okl. I don't see how that can possibly be worth it to ESPN.

I expect no one to move until the Big 12 GoR is up in 2025.


edit : the extra $150 mil per year to the SEC for Tex/Okl is only for their tier 1 rights which they just renegotiated. There will be even more added value when the tier 2 rights are renewed.
